Summary:
On 11/29/2008 at 2000 hrs Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin observed a vehicle driving east bound on Hwy 18 near mile post 10 at 81 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. Deputy McPartlin stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, 38 year old Tuan Nguyen of Portland, OR. Nguyen did not have a drivers license and give Deputy McPartlin a fictitious name. Deputy McPartlin was able to determine Nguyen's real identity and subsequently arrested Nguyen for two outstanding felony warrants. Nguyen was also charged with giving false information to a police officer and failure to carry and present a drivers license. Nguyen was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on $32,100.00 bail. Nguyen has a suspended license and his vehicle was impounded.
