Summary:
On November 5, 2008 at approximately 1:30am, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies Eric Gulbranson, Chris Miller, and Ken Kippley responded to a call of a single vehicle roll over traffic crash on SW Cedar Street just south of the Starr Street intersection in Waldport, Oregon. Fire personnel responded to the scene and advised the vehicle was unoccupied.
The deputies conducted a scene investigation and were able to identify the driver of the vehicle. Investigation revealed the registered owner, James Glen Clerico, age 38, of Waldport, was driving the vehicle under the influence of intoxicants. Clerico also had a passenger with him at the time of the crash. Clerico was arrested for DUII and Reckless endangering. Clerico was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample that resulted in a BAC of .10%.
Clerico was lodged at the jail with a bail of $30,000.
