Summary:
On October 30, 2008 at 6:25pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites initiated a traffic stop on a white Honda Civic on Hwy 101 at the South end of Seal Rock following a citizen complaint about the vehicle driving aggressively.
During contact with the driver, David Steven Jones, 41 years old of Yachats, Deputy Sites noted signs of impairment. An investigation revealed Jones was Driving Under the Influence of Intxicants. Jones was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample of 0.10 %. Jones' bail was set at $15,000.
