Summary:
On October 25, 2008 at 1:12am, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites initiated a traffic stop on a blue Honda Accord on Highway 34 near Crestline Drive, Waldport, Oregon, for failure to use turn signal. An investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Cheryl Jane Lechner, 56 years old, of Waldport, was driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Lechner was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she provided a breath sample of 0.06 %. A Drug Recognition Expert responded to the jail to determine if Lechner was under the influence of intoxicants other than alcohol.
Lechner was lodged at the jail with a bail of $15,000.
