Summary:
On 10/24/2008 at approximately 2100 hrs Deputy Ryan McPartlin with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle on Highway 20 near Mp 10 for defective exhaust. Deputy McPartlin contacted the driver, 46 year old Randall Alan Ricks of Logsden. Ricks' driving privileges were suspended and there was an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest from Benton County for dangerous drugs. Ricks was taken into custody on the warrant and Ricks' vehicle was impounded. A search of the vehicle revealed a small baggy containing methamphetamine, a methamphetamine pipe, a small baggy of marijuana, and an assortment of marijuana pipes. Ricks was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on the warrant and on possession of drug charges resulting in a bail set at $60,000.00.
