Summary:
On 10-11-08, at about 12:45 AM, Deputy Eric Sorby with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 15 year old juvenile of Newport, on Highway 20 near MP 3. The juvenile was arrested after he threw an egg from a moving vehicle at Deputy Sorby’s patrol car while he was traveling west bound on Highway 20. The egg caused substantial damage to Deputy Sorby’s patrol car due to speeds that both vehicles were traveling. The juvenile was cited and released to his father.
