Summary:
On September 20, 2008 Deputy Ryan McPartlin of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Sawyers Landing regarding a report of an intoxicated boater that the Coast Guard had towed in off the Yaquina River. Deputy McPartlin arrived onscene and contacted 28 year old Dustin Hockema of Newport, OR. Deputy McPartlin conducted a BUII investigation and subsequently arrested Hockema for boating under the influence. Hockema was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample. His blood alcohol content was measured at .16%. Hockema was cited and released. His bail was set at $1,124.00.
