Summary:
On August 18, 2008 at 8:00 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a residence on SW Norwood Park Place in Waldport, OR for a Domestic Disturbance. Deputies Colin Teem and Lance Cummings contacted Manuel Joseph Bayya, 33 years of age of Waldport, OR. Investigation revealed Bayya had broken a window out of a vehicle and grabbed another subject by the neck.
A routine warrants check of Bayya revealed he had two outstanding Misdemeanor warrants for Failure to Appear out of Marion County.
Bayya was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Bayya was lodged for Harassment, Criminal Mischief II and two outstanding warrants. Bayya had a bail set at $27,500.00.
