Summary:
On July 31, 2008 at approximately 2:00 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Colin Teem observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of Street Car Village in Lincoln City, OR. Deputy Teem contacted a single female driver of the vehicle and identified her as Marylin Ann Childs, 22 years of age of Gleneden Beach, OR. While Deputy Teem spoke to Childs he detected the odor of alcohol and signs of impairment. Deputy Teem conducted a DUII investigation, subsequently placing Childs into custody for DUII. Childs was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she produced a breath sample of .04% BAC. Deputy Cummings with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and performed a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation.
Childs was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for DUII with a bail set at $7,500.00.
