Summary:
On 8-3-08, at about 3:00 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby contacted three people in a vehicle parked in front of 543 SE 2Nd St in Toledo. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Cheryl L. Childs, 27, of Toledo, fled from the vehicle as Deputy Sorby approached. Childs had two felony warrants for her arrest. A passenger in the vehicle, Cynthia R Mosier, 28, of Newport, was found to be in possession of two methamphetamine pipes and was taken into custody.
Deputy Sorby checked with residents, Sarah Lynn Dauenhauer, 20, of Toledo and Trever Scott Cole, 24, of Toledo, who gave Deputy Sorby consent to look for Childs. During the search Deputy Sorby located a small mirror with methamphetamine on it and several methamphetamine pipes and baggies in the residence. Dauenhauer and Cole were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine.
Deputy Sorby was able to locate Childs in an upstairs apartment and Childs was taken into custody on the warrants. Deputy Sorby then transported the three subjects to the Lincoln County Jail.
Mosier was lodged for two counts of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Hindering Prosecution. Mosier’s bail was wet at 75,000.00.
Dauenhauer was lodged for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Frequenting a Place Where Drugs are Used. Dauenhauer’s bail was set at 32,500.00.
Cole was lodged for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Frequenting a Place Where Drugs are Used. Cole’s bail was set at 32,500.00.
Childs was lodged on two Felony Warrants and her bail was set at 100,000.00.
