Summary:
On June 19, 2008 at about 5:00pm, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies Brian Cameron, Cliff Sites, and Barry Bruster responded to a reported assault at a residence near Milepost 11 on Highway 34 in Tidewater, Oregon. An investigation revealed that Michael Harris, age 44 of Tidewater, had assaulted another person. The person had confronted Harris about Harris’ dog running loose in the neighborhood. Deputy Bruster contacted Harris at his residence and placed him under arrest. Harris was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Assault IV. His bail was set at $7500.00.
