Summary:
On June 14, 2008 at approximately 6:44PM, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Toledo Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the 800 block of Criteser Loop in Toledo, OR for a single vehicle rollover traffic crash. Deputy Colin Teem arrived at the scene of the traffic crash and contacted the driver of the vehicle. The driver was identified as 35 year old Travis Martin Skriver of South Beach, Oregon.
Deputy Teem conducted a traffic crash investigation and learned Skriver negotiated a right curve on a gravel road at an undetermined speed. Skriver lost control of the vehicle and struck a small embankment causing the vehicle to rollover, before coming to rest on the passenger side. Skriver and his two passengers exited the vehicle with minor abrasions. During the traffic crash investigation Deputy Teem could smell alcohol coming from Skriver and observed signs of impairment. Deputy Teem conducted a DUII investigation and Skriver was subsequently taken into custody for DUII.
Skriver was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he gave a breath sample of .13%BAC. Skriver was lodged on one count of DUII, two counts of Reckless Endangering and one count of Reckless Driving. Skriver had a bail set at $30,000.00.
