Summary:
On Tuesday June 10, 2008 Corrections Corporal Mike Wheeler received his Intermediate Corrections Certification.
Corporal Mike Wheeler has been employed with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office since February 17, 1992 where he was hired as a Patrol Deputy. On October 16, 1998 he transferred to the Jail Division as a Corrections Deputy. On August 16, 2003 he was assigned the duties of Field Training Officer, and on May 16, 2007 was promoted to the position of Corporal.
Corporal Wheeler had to meet several requirements prior to receiving his intermediate certification. Included in those requirements are years of experience, training and education hours.
