Summary:
On June 11, 2008 at about 10:30 PM Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Colin Teem responded to a domestic assault at a residence in the 100 block of SW Wakonda Beach Road, Waldport, Oregon. An investigation revealed that 50 year old Wayne Beeberger of Waldport had menaced 33 year old Erin Hess of the same address, and prevented her from calling 911. Beeberger left the residence prior to Deputy Teem’s arrival.
On June 12, 2008 Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Barry Bruster responded to the residence and located Beeberger. Deputy Bruster placed him under arrest. A further investigation revealed that Erin Hess had assaulted Beeberger earlier in the week. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Cliff Sites contacted Hess at the South Beach Mental Health office and placed her under arrest for domestic assault. Beeberger was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Menacing and Interfering with making a police report; his bail was set at $15,000. Hess was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Domestic Assault IV. Her bail was set at $7500.
