Summary:
On May 19th, 2008 at about 11:00pm, Deputy David Hawley with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Five Rivers Rd near milepost five. Deputy Hawley stopped the vehicle because it failed to maintain lane several times. Deputy Hawley contacted Elias H. Eidson, 25 years old, from Tidewater, Oregon. A routine check revealed Eidson had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. Eidson informed Deputy Hawley that he had brass knuckles in his pocket. Deputy Hawley placed Eidson under arrest for the outstanding warrant and carrying a concealed weapon. Eidson was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on a $20,002 dollar bail.
