Sheriff's Office News
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind anyone who has access to the Internet that they can subscribe to a new service from the Sheriff’s Office. A publication produced by the Sheriff’s Office is sent to subscribers of the free service.
Subscribing is as easy as visiting the Sheriff’s Office website at www.lincolncountysheriff.net and entering an email address at the bottom of the page. Subscribers will receive updates on new employees, employee recognition, programs, projects, what’s occurring in the Sheriff’s Office, and what the Sheriff’s Office is doing throughout the county.
Three issues have been emailed to current subscribers and articles have discussed changes in the jail, animal shelter, and patrol. Photographs were included in the last edition. Subscribers who wish to no longer receive the emails need only unsubscribe online at any time.
“Our many community meetings revealed that people want to hear and know more about their Sheriff’s Office and this newsletter is the most recent tool we have employed to keep them informed.” “It’s important that people understand we value everyone’s privacy and therefore don’t share email addresses with anyone,” stated Sheriff Dotson.
