Summary:
On May 28, 2008 Keith Libby, Lincoln County’s newest addition to their reserve deputy program, was sworn in by Lincoln County Sheriff Dennis Dotson. Deputy Libby brings eighteen months of law enforcement experience having served as a reserve officer with the Lincoln City Police Department prior to his appointment with the sheriff’s office. Deputy Libby attended the 2007 Lincoln Combined Reserve Training Academy (LCRT) which follows the same curriculum certified officers must complete through the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST).
Deputy Libby is currently serving in the United States Coast Guard as a Surfman and is stationed at Cape Disappointment in Ilwaco, WA. Deputy Libby will be serving Lincoln County citizens by assisting patrol deputies on routine patrol as well as providing assistance at community events.
