Summary:
On 05/05/08 at about 0826 hours Deputy Abby Dorsey responded to a report of a traffic crash near the intersection of SE Butler Bridge Rd, and Skelton Rd, Toledo. It was reported as a vehicle into a utility pole, which caused the power in the area to go out. Upon contact with the driver, Jack Fry Stewart II, 47, Deputy Dorsey observed signs of impairment. Stewart was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport for evaluation. Deputy Cummings contacted Stewart at the hospital for further investigation and observed additional signs of impairment and conducted a DUII investigation. Subsequently Stewart was cited and released at the hospital for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (alcohol and or controlled substance); Reckless Driving; Driving While Revoked.
