Summary:

On April 29, 2008 at approximately 4:07 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies Etheridge, Cummings, and Cameron responded to a report of a man shooting at his wife at approximately mile post 3.7 on E Eckman Crk Rd in Waldport. After an investigation, Brett Williams, age 46 of Waldport, was taken into custody for Menacing, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Deputies recovered and seized the weapon identified by his wife as the one used to shoot at her. Brett Williams was transported without incident to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged, his bail was set at $40,000.
