Summary:
On February 25, 2008 at 10:50 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin responded to a report of an unwanted subject at an address in Little Whale Cove. Upon arriving at Little Whale Cove Deputy McPartlin noticed that the gate into the community had been broken off and was lying on the ground. Upon further investigation Deputy McPartlin was told that the subject had left Little Whale Cove. Deputy Eric Gulbranson found the subject in the J.C. Market parking lot in Newport. Deputy McPartlin arrived at that location and contacted the suspect, George Fluksa. While talking with Fluksa, Deputy McPartlin noticed several signs of impairment. Deputy McPartlin conducted a DUII investigation and subsequently arrested Fluksa for driving under the influence of alcohol. Fluksa provided a breath sample of .17% BAC. Fluksa was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail. His bail was set at $22,500.00.
