Summary:

On February 26, 2008 at 9:30 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin responded to 246 NE 3rd St in Newport for a report of an assault. Upon responding to the address Deputy McPartlin found two people injured. Deputy McPartlin conducted an investigation and determined that the suspect was 23 year old Daniel Rayos. Rayos was also responsible for a damaged door at the residence. Rayos was not found on the night of the investigation. Rayos was later arrested for an unrelated charge and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail. Deputy McPartlin contacted Rayos at the jail and informed him of the charges from February 26, 2008. His bail was set at $25,000.00.
