Incident:	Minors cited for consumption of alcohol

Summary:

On February 18, 2008 at approximately 10:45 pm, a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a noise complaint at a residence in the Otis area. Upon arrival at the suspect residence, the deputy encountered a party involving numerous juveniles that had consumed alcohol. Eight juveniles between the ages of 13 and 17 were contacted by the deputy and all eight admitted to consuming alcohol. The deputy issued eight citations for Minor in Possession of Alcohol by Consumption, then called their parents. All eight juveniles were released to their parents or another responsible adult once they arrived. The eight juveniles were referred to the Lincoln County Juvenile Department for future dispositon through the Juvenile Court system.
