Location:	U.S. Hwy 101 near mile post 154

Summary:

On February 4, 2008 at about 1:12 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatch to a 911 report of a possible intoxicated driver traveling north on U.S. Hwy 101 near milepost 154. The 911 caller reported a silver Jeep Cherokee, bearing Oregon license plate YFC 831, was swerving in its lane of travel, had crossed the center line and then struck a dirt embankment nearly crashing. The vehicle then turned around and the 911 caller reported it was now traveling south on U.S. Hwy 101. Deputy Etheridge and Deputy Cummings, from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, located the vehicle at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 101 and U.S. Hwy 34 in Waldport, Oregon. During contact with the driver, later identified as Susan V. Biggin, age 53 from Waldport, Oregon, Deputy Cummings observed signs of impairment. Deputy Cummings conducted a DUII Investigation and arrested Ms. Biggin for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. Ms. Biggin was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and her bail was set at $15,000.00. Ms. Biggin's vehicle was also impounded.
