Summary:
On 02/10/08 at approximately 11:16 am, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Derek Etheridge was dispatched to a reported injury rollover traffic crash at approximately milepost 2 on NE Old River Rd in Siletz. Responders from Siletz RFPD arrived on scene and were unable to immediately locate the subjects involved. After a search of the area, Jesse W Ramsey, 27, of Troutdale, OR and another male juvenile were located in a wooded area approximately one-quarter mile from the scene. Ramsey was arrested for failing to perform duties of a driver when property damage has occurred and released at the scene. Ramsey's bail was set at $7,500.00. Units from Siletz Rural Fire Protection District, Toledo Police Department, and Newport Police Department assisted in this call.
