Incident:	Assault IV, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct

Time Occurred:	Approximately 4:12 PM
Location:	US HWy 34 and Moffitt Road, Waldport

Summary:

On January 24th, 2008 Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Deputy Cummings was dispatched to a report of a fight in progress near the intersection of U.S. Hwy 34 and SE Moffitt Rd. Upon arrival Deputy Cummings learned Christopher Coats, age 25 from Albany, Oregon had assault a 17 year old male juvenile and had harassed another adult male subject. Mr. Coats had fled the scene prior to Deputy Cummings' arrival.

Deputy Cummings later located Mr. Coats at an address located off of SE Moffitt Rd. in Waldport, Oregon and took him into custody. Mr. Coats was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on two counts of Harassment and one count of Assault IV. Mr. Coats' bail was set at $22,500.00
