Summary:
On 1-6-08, at about 0250 hours, Deputy Sorby with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office stopped a Silver Minivan for failing to maintain its lane while traveling north on Arcadia Dr in Toledo. Deputy Sorby contacted the driver, Nicholas Renshaw, 21, of Siletz. Renshaw was driving 4 people back to Siletz from Toledo. Deputy Sorby noticed there was a strong odor of alcohol coming from Renshaw’s breath. Deputy Sorby asked Renshaw to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. Renshaw was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and four counts of Recklessly Endangering. Renshaw was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he registered a .13% BAC. Renshaw’s bail was set at $37,500.00.
