Summary:

On January 1, 2008 at 9:12 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin was assisting Toledo Police Officers on an arrest in the area of Tolowa Ct, Siletz. Deputy McPartlin noticed a male sleeping in his vehicle with the engine still running. Deputy McPartlin woke the driver and observed several signs of impairment while talking with 54 year old Earl Littleton of Siletz. Deputy McPartlin conducted a DUII investigation and subsequently arrested Littleton for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Littleton was taken to the Lincoln County Jail where he refused a breath test. He was lodged at the jail and his bail was set at $7,500.00. Littleton was issued a citation for refusing the breath test and his vehicle was seized under the Lincoln County forfeiture ordinance.
