Summary:
On 12-21-07, at about 11:13 PM, Deputy Sorby with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office took Darla Rekow, 55, of Waldport, into custody for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Deputy Sorby and Officer Harrison, with the Toledo Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on Rekow because her van did not have a working license plate light. Deputy Sorby noticed a bag of marijuana on the passenger seat. Deputy Sorby obtained consent from Rekow to search the rest of the vehicle. Deputy Sorby located two methamphetamine pipes, a baggie containing methamphetamine, another bag of marijuana, and about six marijuana pipes. Rekow was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Fail to Carry and Present a Drivers License. Rekow was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail where her bail was set at 27,500.00.
