Summary:

On 12-22-07, at about 7:57 PM, Deputy Sorby with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 14534 Highway 229 in Siletz. During the investigation Deputy Sorby learned Heather McManus, 37, of New York, struck her mother, Janet Nagel, 60, of Siletz, three times in the face. During the altercation two minor children were present in the room. Deputy Sorby placed McManus in custody for Felony Domestic Assault IV. McManus was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail where her bail was set at 25,000.00.
