On November 5th 2007, at about 4:10 PM, Deputy Eric Sorby conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Ford ThunderBird for crossing over the center line. The vehicle was west bound near MP2 on Highway 20. Deputy Sorby and Deputy McPartlin contacted the driver, Rebecca Holder, age 48, of Toledo. Deputy Sorby obtained consent to search the vehicle and located a small container with a piece of straw in it. Deputy Sorby seized the container and submitted it to the Oregon State Crime Lab for testing. The contents in the container tested positive for the presence of Methamphetamine.
