Summary:
On 11-12-07, at about 11:30 PM, Deputy Sorby contacted Adrian Rosas-Garcia, 22, of Toledo, on a traffic stop in the JC Thriftway parking lot in Toledo. Deputy Sorby asked to see Garcia’s driver’s license and he was handed a "Permanent Resident Card". Garcia told Deputy Sorby he did not have a driver's license but was going to get one in the future. Deputy Sorby examined the "Permanent Resident Card" and believed the document to be forged. Deputy Sorby confronted Garcia about the document and he admitted it was fake. Deputy Sorby placed Garcia into custody for Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 1st degree and Fail to Carry and Present a Driver's License. Garcia was lodged at the Lincoln county Jail where his bail was set at $32,500.00.
