Summary:

On October 15, 2007 at 10:01 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin was driving west bound on Highway 20 at about milepost one when he observed an east bound, white, Honda Civic slide into the guardrail and almost hit two people walking along the side of the highway. Deputy McPartlin conducted an investigation which resulted in the driver, 21 year old Chelsie Mason of Newport, being issued a citation for Reckless Driving.
