Summary:

On October 6th, 2007 Deputy Cummings, from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, observed a grey colored, four door Dodge Neon traveling south on U.S. Hwy 101 near Range Dr. in Waldport, Oregon with an inoperative front headlight. Deputy Cummings initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as 23 year old Cale T. Srofe from Newport, Oregon. Mr. Srofe had an adult male passenger inside the vehicle with him. Srofe exhibited signs of impairment and a DUII Investigation was conducted. Mr. Srofe was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.

Mr. Srofe was lodged at the jail on the charges of DUII (Alcohol &/or Controlled Substance), Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering Another. His bail was set at $22,500.00. Mr. Srofe's vehicle was impounded at the scene.
