Summary:
On September 22nd, 2007 at about 1:30pm, two men were arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance in the Siletz, Oregon area. The arrests were the culmination of a joint effort from members of the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team and the Lincoln Interagency Special Weapons and Tactics Team.
The two arrested subjects were cultivating the marijuana plants when members of the Lincoln Interagency Special Weapons and Tactics Team arrested them and recovered twenty-three marijuana plants. Also recovered were several items related to the growing and cultivating of marijuana. The illegal marijuana grow was on private timber property.
The arrested subjects were identified as Ryan Lowell Greene, age 25 of Logsden, Oregon, and David Robert Roeser, age 22 of Siletz, Oregon. The two were lodged at the Lincoln County Jail with a bail of $150,000.00 each. Other suspects have been identified as being involved in the cultivation of the marijuana and the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team will be continuing the investigation.
