Location:	NW Cross St. and NW Kinglet St. in Seal Rock, Oregon

Summary:

On September 21, 2007 at about 10:10pm, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle crash at the intersection of NW Cross Street and NW Kinglet Street in Seal Rock, Oregon. Deputy Lance Cummings responded to the scene and learned from witnesses that a white Saturn sedan had crashed into a utility pole and had then left the scene before his arrival. Deputy Cummings later located the vehicle and the driver, identified as 27 year old Jason J. Martin of Waldport, Oregon. Mr. Martin had three passengers inside his vehicle at the time of the crash. Deputy Cummings observed signs of impairment and conducted a DUII Investigation. Mr. Martin was then arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Mr. Martin was lodged at the jail on charges of DUII, Reckless Driving, three counts of Reckless Endangering and Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver (Property damage). Mr. Martin's bail was set at $45,000.00

Mr. Martin's vehicle was impounded and he also received a traffic citation for No Operator's Licences.
