Time Occurred:	Approximately 8:22 PM
Location:	Rhododendron Ave, Gleneden Beach

Summary:

On September 14, 2007 at 8:22 PM Lincoln County Sheriff's Patrol Sergeant Mark Meister was dispatched to a report of a domestic disturbance on Rhododendron Ave in Gleneden Beach. The investigation of the disturbance determined that Gary Thomas Nichols, age 55 of Gleneden Beach, had assaulted his wife over the past few weeks leaving bruises on her arms. Nichols' wife called 911 tonight as he had threatened to kill her. When Sergeant Meister investigated the Menacing complaint Nichols' wife also disclosed the assaults. Nichols was arrested for Domestic Assault IV and Domestic Menacing and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged with a bail of $15,000.00. Alcohol was involved.
