Location:	E. Alsea Highway, Waldport, Oregon

Summary:

On September 11, 2007 at approximately 6:00pm, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to investigate a theft of a dog which occurred at 7296 E. Alsea Highway near Waldport, Oregon. Deputy Lance Cummings investigated the complaint and learned 26 year old Simon E. Kellogg of Tidewater, Oregon had stolen an eight-week old puppy from the complainant. Mr. Kellogg was located and found in possession of the puppy. Mr. Kellogg was arrested for Theft I and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. His bail was set at $25,000. The puppy was returned to its owner.
