Summary:

On 09/11/07 Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received a complaint from Ray's Food Place in Waldport, Or. regarding persons writing checks for store purchases on closed bank accounts. An initial investigation has determined that several businesses throughout Lincoln County have received checks from Troy Michael Lowery, 39 and Shawn Marie Lowery, 36 of Newport. The checks are written on checking accounts with Bank of America, West Coast Bank, and Washington Mutual Bank. Anyone receiving a bad check or having information regarding this investigation are asked to contact Detective Trish Miller, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, (541)265-4277x 4971.
