Summary:
On September 2, 2007 at about 4:30 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Sorby responded to a disturbance at 1633 Moonshine Park Road in Logsden, Oregon. Deputy Sorby contacted the victim, an adult male, outside the residence and learned he was struck in the face by 47 year old Mark Lewis Breon. When the victim attempted to call 9-1-1, Breon pulled both phones from the wall so he would not be able to place the call. Breon fled the scene before Deputy Sorby arrived. On September 6, 2007, Deputy Colin Teem contacted Breon in front of the Subway Restaurant in Newport and took him into custody. Breon was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail on a $15,000.00 bail.
