Summary:
On September 3, 2007 at approximately 1:42 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ryan McPartlin responded to a two vehicle collision on highway 101 near mile post 157. A green Honda Element driven by 25 year old Cole K. Farris, was slowing down due to a traffic collision that had happened in front of him a few minutes earlier. A blue toyota pickup driven by 18 year old Shay Whiteman, did not see the Element slowing down and crashed into the rear of the Honda causing significant damage to both vehicles. Farris, Whiteman and her two passengers were uninjured in the crash. Whiteman did not have a drivers license or insurance on the vehicle. She was cited for no operators license and no insurance.
