Summary:
On August 13, 2007 at approximately 12:02 AM Deputy Vertner was dispatched to a single vehicle crash into a utility pole on NE East Devils Lake Rd. near mile post 3. Upon arrival, Deputy Vertner found the driver, later identified as Ralph Dimick, age 46 of Otis, had left the scene of the crash. During Deputy Vertner's investigation the driver returned to the scene and was arrested for Hit and Run Property Damage, Criminal Mischief II, Reckless Driving and Reckless Endangering. He was taken to the Lincoln County Jail where his bail was set at $30,000.00.
