Summary:
On 08/04/07 at about 7:13 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Eric Gulbranson and Oregon State Police Trooper, Greg Plummer responded to a report of a possible explosive device that was located near a barn. Joseph Larsen reported that he and his son located, what appeared to be a pipe bomb, on the ground near their barn. They left the suspected bomb where they found it and contacted the Sheriff's Office. After Larsen described the device, Trooper Plummer contacted the Oregon State Police Bomb Squad in Salem, Oregon. The Bomb Squad responded and rendered the pipe bomb safe.
