Summary:
During the past week, inmates from your Lincoln County Jail have been used at the Lincoln County Animal Shelter to assist shelter staff with basic cleaning tasks. Inmates are cleaning kennels and the common areas of the shelter prior to business hours.
Using inmates to do work outside of the jail is a new program and one that the Corrections staff hope to utilize more in the future.
