Summary:
On 6/21/07, at about 2:18 AM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Sorby contacted Joseph Tasse, age 64 of Colorado, on a traffic stop in the parking lot of Specialty Auto Body in South Beach. Deputy Sorby could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming front Tasse and observed signs of impairment. Deputy Sorby asked Tasse if he would consent to field sobriety test. Tasse consented to the tests and failed them. Tasse was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he registered a .09% BAC. Tasse was lodged at the jail with his bail set at 7,500.00. Tasse's vehicle was impounded.
