Summary:
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office would like to introduce your newest Patrol Deputy, David Hawley. David was sworn in by Sheriff Dotson on June 12, 2007. Sheriff Dotson stated, "David has excellent character and will fit in well with the men and women of the Sheriff's Office." David is scheduled to attend the 16 week police academy beginning June 25th. After the academy he will return to the Sheriff's Office for approximatly 16 more weeks of Field Training and Evaluation before he will be assigned to solo patrol. David had been working at Oregon State University and is a recent graduate of the Benton County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Academy.
