Summary:
On May 17th, 2007 Deputy Cummings and Deputy Sorby responed to a residence in Waldport, Oregon after receiving a 911 call of a possible car jacking in progress. Upon arrival Deputy Cummings discovered the home owner received serious injuries to his right leg while attempting to prevent someone from stealing his car. The home owner was transported to the emergency room where he under went emergency surgery for the injuries he received. Upon completing his investigation Deputy Cummings arrested Joshua J. King, age 22 from Waldport, Oregon for Assault I, Robbery I, Conspiracy to commit a felony, Failer to Perform the Duties of a Driver (felony), Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangering and Criminal Mischief II. Mr. King was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and his bail was set at $190,000.00
Michelle M. Hansen, age 23 of Waldport, Oregon was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver (Felony) and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Ms. Hansen was lodged at the jail and her bail was set at $75,000.00
Natasha D. Morton, age 27 of Waldport, Oregon was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle. Ms. Morton was lodged at the jail and her bail was set at $57,500.00.
