Summary:
On May 5th, 2007 at about 8:06 pm, Deputy Gulbranson had parked his Lincoln County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle in the parking lot of Ray's Food place in Waldport, Oregon. As he was entering the store, a witness approached Deputy Gulbranson and told him that a female in a white Chevrolet truck had just struck his patrol vehicle and left the scene. Deputy Gulbranson located the vehicle at the intersection of Cedar and Highway 34. Deputy Gulbranson, with the assistance of Sergeant Shanks, conducted an investigation and learned that Kathleen L. Miller, age 47 of Waldport was responsible for the damage to his patrol vehicle. Miller was cited and released for Failure to perform the Duties of a Driver (property damage). The bail was set at $7500.00.
