Deputy Sorby contacted the driver who told him his name was Joseph W. Smith. After further investigation Deputy Sorby discovered the driver’s real name was James P. Short, 45, of Toledo. Short told Deputy Sorby he lied about his name because there were warrants out for his arrest and his license was suspended.
