Summary:
On April 17, 2007 at approximately 11:30 pm, a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was driving north on Hwy 101 south of the Apple Peddler Restaurant when he noticed a vehicle commit several traffic violations in front of him. The deputy activated his overhead lights and the offending vehicle stopped behind the Apple Peddler Restaurant. When contact was made with the driver, Michael Shannon McMillen, age 33, of Wilsonville, OR, signs of alcohol impairment were observed. The depurty conducted sobriety tests on McMillen. McMillen was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample that showed his blood alcohol concentration to be .16%, twice the legal limit. McMillen was lodged in jail on $7,500 bail and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
