Summary:
On April 14, 2007, a person from Siletz returned home to find items stolen from his property, sometime over the past two weeks. On April 16, 2007, a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office made contact with the victim and took his report. The victim gave suspect information to the investigating deputy, who was able to make contact with the supect, Christopher C. Gertulla, age 33, of Logsden, OR. Upon completion of the investigation, the deputy arrested Gertulla for the crimes of Burglary in the Second Degree and Theft in the First Degree. Gertulla was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on $50,000 bail.
